Wicks
Our wicks are pre-tabbed, pre-cut to 6", and veggie coated RRD. This is a round, natural cotton core wick that provides an increased and even flow of fuel to the flame. This is especially helpful in natural waxes such as soy, palm, etc. RRD wicks burn with a slight curl, which helps to minimize or eliminate carbon buildup, also known as mushrooming. It also reduces smoking, which can cause soot, and provides a self-trimming effect, which creates a stable and consistent flame.
Please note that your choice of wicks should depend on the diameter of the container not the depth of the container since wicks can be trimmed to any length. Choosing the correct diameter wick is important to obtain a full and even burn pool. Non-circular or large containers may need to have multiple wicks to obtain a full burn pool.
For containers approximately 1" – 1.5" in diameter order cotton core wick RRD-29 (X-Small)
For containers approximately 1.5" – 2" in diameter order cotton core wick RRD-37 (Small)
For containers approximately 2" – 2.5" in diameter order cotton core wick RRD-47 (Medium)
For containers approximately 2.5" – 3" in diameter order cotton core wick RRD-55 (Large)
